From Feb.16-18, I also celebrated my first Chinese New Year/Spring Festival--chunjie. Dad and Mom took me to the Chinese Church Spring Festival celebration, Chinese students celebration and Chinese scholars and staff's dinner. We really had busy weekend! One thing I really enjoyed is that I got a red envelope --hongbao from the Chinese church. In fact, it is myself who grabbed it when the Nainai handed it to me, which surprised everyone there!They all laughed or might laught at me, but I didn't care.I got money! Mom said I was sleeping, but they heard "now it is time to hand out hongbao for kids", they woke me up. haha... For Chunjie, my parents bought me a robot pig because this year is Golden Pig Year according to Chinese way and there is a pig in my mom's first picture when she was 7 month old. Originally my Dad wanted to find a real pig. But there are only cows in Texas, no pigs. haha...
