This morning, Sivinna and her mom came to visit us. I am happy to see her even though sometimes, she was not so nice to me. For example, she pushed me or grabbed my hair. We really enjoyed climbing stairs together.

Today is the second time for me to be at the nursary! I behaved well. I played with kids there. One little sister, who is 2 years old, kept taking care of me. Mom's study was short today. She came to pick me up much earlier than last time.
We were too rush to leave. Unfortunately, I lost my two toys---teething ring and a rattle.
Anyway, we had good lunch with my dear friend Jackie at Greek Resturant. I like their French Fries!
In the evening, Mom did a lot of yardwork---growing vegetables.

Challenge myself!
I found Elsa really know how to challenge herself. For the crawling, she chose army-style, then switched to hands&knees-style. Several weeks ago, she started to climb the stairs. It is funny to see the first time she closed to the stair. She tried very hard to figure out whether to put hand first on upper stair or leg first. Once she found out putting hands higher first safer, she started to climb. At that time, She climbed with bare hands and as the same time, she kept looking back to check whether Mom was there. Right after she could climb skillfully, she added the difficult. Right now she would like to hold something like paper or toy in hand while she is climbing. Certainly, sometimes she would pick up something on the way and continue her climbing.
This really help me thinking of my own spiritual growth. 10 years ago, I accepted God as my savior. In my spiritual growth, how much I challenge myself to grow closer to God? Especially for my current situation, sometimes, I just have some discouraging thoughts or acts.I should not just be satisfied eating bottle, instead, I should challenge myself to grow maturally.
Learn from Elsa to add some difficulties in order to get the full growth

Last night, Mom and Dad took me to Toy r us and Walwart. They wanted to buy some toys for me, but they ran out of time at Toy r us. So we went to Walmart, where Mom found a set of toy---a cellphone and a control with keys to car, house and so on. I like them very much. You know, I like watching people talking on the phone or cellphone. Hahaha.. I have my own now. Call me when you have time! I am pretty flexible.

These two nights, I went to bed earlier around 10 or 10:30pm (haha..),then I woke up around 1:30am. I don't know why, I just couldn't go back to sleep. So I wanted to play. First night, my Mom stayed with me a little while, then my Dad joined. I was so excited, I just held on the crib and stood there, waving my arm, either right or left one.And sometimes, I also cried out a long SENTENCE, just like a slogan. These made both my Dad and Mom think of Chair Mao and the Red Guard. And my expression was very serious, too. But the second night, it was too terrible. My Mom was with me about one and half hour, then she got really upset, so she just let me cry out. My Dad couldn't bear my crying, he came to me and pat me, finally I went back to sleep. But it took long time for him back to sleep, thus, he overslept in the morning. It's terrible, you know that he was supposed to have class at 8:00am. and he was late. I felt sorry. I hope tonight I will not play this trick again!

Elsa is eight month old. Time flies. I felt it was so long for the nine month pregnancy, while this eight months just flied away.
It's so fun to watch your girl growing each day. I do feel that God speaks to me through my baby's growing at different stages.
Crawling---backward-sideward-forward
Elsa started crawling around six-month-old. At the beginning, she started backward with army style. You could tell she knew the object was in front of her,but she just either crawled backward or to the sides--sideward. When she found that she couldn't reach the object, she was very frustrated. Little by little ( it did take her some time), she figured out that crawling forward was the way to reach the object in front of her. Once she learned the forward crawling, she never crawled backward or sideward any more and she also changed her army-style to hands & knees- style later.
While watching and refelcting Elsa's crawling, it reminds me my spirtual growth in faith. As a new believer or even sometime right now, I was struggling with God's will in the similar way. Instead of following God's instruction, I just hope that there is some shortcut by backward or sideward to reach my goal. Through some failures, I finally realized going forward to God's will is the only shortcut to reach the goal He set up for me. Elsa really teaches me that once I recogized God as my Lord, I should just hold on Him ,which it is just like her never choosing crawling backward once she knew crawling forward was the right way.

This evening, my parents took me to see a lady who had a surgery. They know her at sunday school class. Mom cooked Youcai for her. She is doing fine. She has a cat. He is cute. It is the first time that I was so close to a cat. I was so excited. He looked the same way too. He kept approaching us. At the beginning, I was just curious who he is. Then I just screamed at him with my special girly voice. It's funny. He was scared. He quickly curved down to protect himself. haha... It's pity my parents didn't bring camera or vedio then. Or it should be a great memory for me in the future. haha..

Today, we went to the daycare of First Baptism church because Mom attended a women bible study. She drove me there. We both were excited because it was my first day to be at the daycare. I behaved well. I played some with children there, then I had my formula and slept. Mom felt a little disappointed when she found I was sleeping. There were a lot of kids. One is a baby, who is the same age as me.
