My Dad's family's tradition--go to movie on holidays. We did that again. Since there is no Mom's style movie, they finally chose "The Pirate of Caribbean III" because they watched the first when they were in Beijing for Christmas. And it was the only movie Dad watched in China.
They thought I might go to sleep soon, so they chose 7:45pm. But I didn't fall in sleep immediately, I also watched the previews and part of the movie. Some parts did make me excited. Finally I did go to sleep and sleep through that night, too.
Dad and Mom also took me to the Safari Park in the mall. This time I could climb up to the top of the slide with hands and feet, then turn my butt to get down from the stairs, or slide down the slide. Anyway, right now I am more experienced for what I am doing.Even though in the park, I was the only one who couldn't walk, I still went through every parts and tried to play with those bigger kids.
Another thing I learned during last week is to immitate people's cough. It happended at Friday night when my parents had Bible study at Grandma Yvonne's house. When Grandma, Mom and I were in the kitchen, Grandma Yvonne started coughing, so I habiturally immitated her. When she pretended to cough seriously, I also pretended to cough very hard, which made Mom and Grandma laughed for a long time. Later, I showed off to the others after the study was over. In fact, I have a lot ways to make people laugh. haha...

This evening, I really shocked my parents. I pushed the stool to the highchair, then I climbed and stood on the stool, because I wanted to get into the highchair or to see who is higher, me or highchair?. When they saw what I had done, they were really surprised. haha..
In fact, these days, I already have been learning how to push stroller, walking around in the living room. One day, I showed off in front of my friend, Mrs. Jackie Howard.
I also know that if I stand on my keyboard, I could look out of the window in my room.

Right now, my dad is driving back from Dallas. He was out of town from Thursday. It is the first time that he left us so long. We all miss him.
Dad did leave the car with us. Unfortunately, there has been raining for three days, but Mom and I still went out each day.
Friday morning, we went to Lubbock Club to have lunch with the other ladies from Mom prayer group, because one of them will move to another state. Friday evening, two friends came to visit us and Maomao. Both of them are cat-lovers, so Maomao got a lot of sympathy.
Saturday morning, we went to K mart first, then after nap and lunch, Mom took me to Texas Tech Musum, where there is International cultural exhibition. In fact, there are all kinds of activities children could take part in. We also went to another part of the museum, where records Lubbock's history. I can see some famous people's pictures and old street. I also knew that Lubbock was the cleanest city in Texas for 8 years from 1930 to 1937. I enjoyed opening the drawers to look at the exhibited items very much. Like my Dad often says," it is a good design."

May 13 is Mother's Day and I am 10 month old, too.
This morning, my Parents dressed me with a watermellon outfit. which my Mom bought when they were in China. Everyone saw me, saying "She is so cute". haha..I like it,too.
My Mom got flowers from the churches. In Chinese Church, Pastor asked every Mom to come to the front with children if they were there. He prayed for the Moms and their children, then the child gave the rose to her/ his mom, saying" I love you".certainly, I gave Mom rose, too even though I couldn't say that long and lovely sentence. I also got a card for Mom. Dad bought Mom a nice and meaningful Coffee Table, which will be very suitable for Mom' Women praying group at our home.
After Church, our family went to a philippine resturant. The food was good, but there were not so many people when we were there. One philippine girl, two years old, was very excited to see me. I also was told that the name "Elsa" was very popular in Philippine.
10 month old, certainly, I need to have new skill. This evening, I pushed my umbrella stroller and walked several rounds. Mom tried to put Maomao in, but he didn't stay. It's pity. They vedioed me, sorry, no picture.

Till last night, my parents finally chose one name for the cat. They named him "mao2mao--毛毛", means furry because he is the most furry one among his siblings. Another reason is that they knew I could say "mao1-猫", means cat. Then it will be easier for me to call him by switching to the second tone. Who knows?
Ok, now let me tell you some common interests Maomao and me share.
Toys: we all like playing balls, cords, shoes, keys of the computer...
Places: we both like sitting in the stair to the basement and climbing stairs. He also likes sneaking under the sofa, which is hard for me to reach him
Food: Both he and me will cry once we see mom eating something
So far, he is very friendly with me. I like him so much that I often hold him very tight in my hands. He also likes following me, smelling my diaper.

Today, I really got a cat. This morning when Mom and I came back from walk, our neighbor was showing his kittens to another neighbor. We stopped, too. He did ask whether we wanted one because he planned to give away. Certainly, Dad and I would love to.
Finally, we chose this furry one. He is five weeks old.
So far, he is friendly. I chased him around some when he was in downstair. Right now my parents decided to put him in Sunroom. Dad went to buy him food and the other related devices. It seemed that he got confused, he treated his bathroom as his bed. That bothered Dad and Mom. So they need to find out a solution. We haven't found a right name for him yet.
One thing surprise my parents is that my crawling looked like a monkey when I chased the kitten. --I used my hands, feet instead of knees and my "pigu" was in the air.
Picture1: he wants to get out from the sunroom, sorry, I couldn't help.
Picture2: He is resting on my Dad's sleeper.

Recently, I become very interested in pets, like cat, dog, squirrel and so on. My neighour has two cats. Every time when we saw them, Mom would see "mao, mao", and she also immitated the cat's cry "miao, miao", then I would imitate her, saying "mao.. miao" The neigbour also has three dogs. I often hear their barking at the backyard.
Tonight, we went to a friend's house, I found they had a dog decoration on the top of a very high cabinet. When I saw it, I was very excited and I talked with him a lot, later, I turned back to Mom, poiting to her where the dog was.
When I show interest in cat, my Dad is happy because he and his family like cat, while when I show interest in dog, my Mom is happy because she likes dog more than cat and she was born in the year of Dog. In fact, I was born in the year of Dog,too. What pet should I choose then?

Thursday, Mom took me to the Mall again. When we were closer to the Safari Park, I recognized where we were going. I was very excited. There were several kids. But they all left one by one after I arrived less than 5 minutes. I didn't know whether it was because of my loud screaming or not. I thought it might not. Because at least two of them came to say good-bye to me before they left. Ok, I had to enjoy myself.
Picture1: Only one kid-me was left in the whole park
Picture2: Sale, who or what? Must be the dress, not the lion and me.
Picture3: Ok, let me see how tall I am now.
Too boring. Let's go. On the way to Beals, Mom stopped by the riding devices. She wanted me to have an experience of those funny things. haha.. look at me.
Picture1: getting on the school bus and say hello to Bunny
Picture2: How should I drive?
Picture3: Thank you, I know how to drive!
Picture4: Let's take a picture together!
From my experience, once you know how to drive a school bus, you can drive helicopter.
PS: I noticed the neighour Car was moving after a boy sat on and his mom put some coins. I knew my Mom didn't want to "use" 75cents for that moment.
