Learning hide & seek!
While Daddy was out of town, Mom tried to teach me playing hide & seek. It was a little hard for me to master the right strategy. When it was my turn to seek, I just went to the room and asked where Mom was or I just looked, not really seeking for where she was hiding. When it was my turn to hide, normally I went to a room and immediately said " I am ready" instead of hiding first.

Tonight, Daddy played with me again. This time, I was better and better with Mom's help. It was fun. And Didi enjoyed seeking for me or seeking with me,too.

My funny brother!

These days Didi starts talking more with some meaningful word. I found the most word he used more is "no". To be honest, the tune he used is pretty much the same as me when I say "no". It is funny, sometimes he misused the "no" word, which made him loose a lot of good chances to have good things.

For example, today when I asked him to go upstair to play, he said "no". Ok, then we just stayed downstair. Later, I asked him whether he wanted a cracker, he still said "no", oh, poor Didi, sorry, then no cracker.

This week, Didi becames interested in talking on the phone. (maybe he is quite influenced by me,too because almost everyday I talk with Laolao and Laoye on the phone.) He did have a very long conversation with Laolao in the past two days. It is funny that he could carry the conversation on. So right now, when I am talked out, I just give the phone to him to let him talk. haha....

oh, today I got a good business. I sold Hugh a piece of "gold fish" cracker and a piece of "animal" cracker, I charged him three dollars. I did pretent to put them in a bag.

My Sweet Brother!
Today Didi is 16 months old. He is really a big boy. This morning I got up a little bit late than him. When I was still in my bed, Didi opened the closet's door, finding out a diaper with a pattern of Cookie Monster ( which is my favorite) and handing it to me. Then, he went back to find a underwear for me. Hey, my sweet brother. He knows to serve me or pay back for what I have done for him. haha.... I kept teling him that I am a big girl and I will not need a diaper daytime. But it seemed that he couldn't understand that yet.

Tonight at Ma & Pa's house, Pa pretended to catch Ma with a strange voice, while Didi really didn't like what he was doing to Ma,he even cried, trying to protect Ma. Later Pa did the same thing to me, Didi also showed the face that he didn't like Pa's behavior. Hey, my sweet brother, he grows up and knows to protect the weak or the ones he loves. haha...

My Puggle award ceremony!
Today is my last day of BSF this year and tonight is the last night for the AWANA Club at FBC . There were an Award Ceremony. We are puggles. We were the first to get on stage, singing "puggles song" and receiving the reward. When they gave the award, they called by family name. So I was the last one whom was called. But as my parents said, I was very patient to wait for my turn. Next year, I will be the cubbies. I really like the program, so I am looking forward to be a cubbie.

I also took a picture with my favorite puggle teacher and her daughter.

Happy Mother's Day!

Sat. night at Chinese church, we had a Mother's Day Party. this year, we didn't get on the stage to perform, instead they played the video for our Sunday schools from different classes. It is so cute the you could see how you behaved and performed during the classes. If you are interested, you can check on the website at www.lubbockchinesechurch.org. I think they will upload the program later.

We are ready to go!
Hahaha.. We are "quiet" for a month. It is unbelievable. This month, we are so BUSY---applying passports, visas, buying tickets Anyway, till last week, we got everything ready. So right now, I am just waiting for my birthday. After my birthday, we will go to China. haha...I have been very excited for my birthday almost everyday. With the China trip, I am more excited.

oh, because several cold days at the end of March, the tinny peaches on my beautiful peach tree are all gone. So this year, we will not have that delicious peaches as last year. This really bothered me a lot. I kept telling every body about this bad news. But Laolao said I could have some declicious peaches while I was in China, which is encouraging and more attractive to me.

These days, Mom started buying soymilk for us, especially letting us drink at night. To be honest, I don't like that taste compared to milk. But Mom said there might not be milk as what we drank here at her hometown, so we needed to be prepared. Hearing this, I started to ask for soymilk every night in order to be used to the life in China. See, I am a prepared person. haha...

Didi 14 months old!
Did is 14 months old. we are so happy that he is officially a toddler. You can imagine how a house will be with two little mobile ones haha... So we are taken out to play quite often once the weather is good.

You may notice that Didi's new army hair style. This is his second haircut. This time he was not so cooperative as the first time, and only my Mom cut it. It only took her 25 minutes from getting ready to cleaning up. oh, poor Didi.....

You may also notice that Maomao is with us at the backyard. Right now he is a out-door cat. Mom did think about letting him be out before this spring. That day when Dad played with us at the back yard,Maomao was very excited,he broke his "house" and came out. When we saw him, he was rolling over in the sand,so Mom said that it was time for Maomao being in the backyard. Since that day, he was in the backyard. These days, once he heard we were in the kitchen or saw our lights on at night, he would come to cry and wanted to come in. But it is you who give up your comfort room first. Sorry, poor Maomao....

PS: since Maomao is in the backyard, we can play with hime more than he was inside.

Go to China!
Mom keeps laughing at me that I don't have the concept of the distance between China and America.
Last month when she took Hugh and me to take a passport picture for Hugh, she told me that Hugh needs a passport if we go to China. So right after we took the picture, I asked wheather we would go to China then. She said we needed to go to the United Supermarket, so I said we could go to China after we went the United. She laughed and said, " China is far away, we couldn't go today."
This afternoon, Dad came back earlier to take us to apply passport for Hugh. It went smooth and Hugh would have a passport, so once we got in the car, I asked Mom again, "are we going to China? We didn't bring the coat for Cousin --Guo zehan yet. We need to go home first. " Then both Mom and Dad told me," we need to wait for Hugh's passport, then apply our visas, then we need to buy plane tickets, then we need to go to the airport, then we can go to China. .." It sounds too complicated. ... I think I will figure it out later.

Didi starts walking!
Right before his one year old birthday, Didi became interested in walking. He did practice some, but he still stopped walking once he realized he was walking. Today, he is 13 month old. He really walked a lot. I mean he would walked at least 4-5 steps each time and he was intended to walk. He even cheered for himself. It's funny to see how excited he was. We will play together more and more as he could realy walk.

Dad took Didi and me to Midland yesterday. We had a great time. We behaved very well even though Mom was not with us. It is a special way to celebrate Valentine's Day! hahaha..

Mom could not find the coupon!
The sale clerks here are very polite. Most time they will ask you "do you find everything all right?" when you check out.
Yesterday, Mom took us to the local grocery store, which mailed us som coupon. When Mom was choosing the items we needed, she remembered that she had a coupon. So she started searching it from the bag. I asked her what she was looking for, she told me she was looking for a coupon. But anyway, she didn't find it. So when we checked out, the clerk asked us,"do you find everything all right?", I told him that Mom couldn't find the coupoon. haha... luckily, he couldn't understand what I meant, or we will "loose face."
