My mom planned to keep my hair longer this summer, thus I could have my 'xiaobianr". But last Thursday, it was hot and I was bored. While Didi and Daddy watched Movie and Mom was nappying, I cut my hair. After I cut half of the hair from my head, I showed Daddy. It was big surprise. I thought he was scared,too. He took me to Mom to show her. She had the same reaction. Certainly she had to finished the rest part. Thus, I got my own style hair-cut this summer.
People commented most of them did the same thing when they were young.
My parents commented that my skill was not bad, but this was not what they wanted me to do, so the result was that I was not allowed to use the scissors for a week! (originally Daddy said a month, later they changed.Anyway, from this, I learned the difference between one month and one week.)

This year at Chinese Church, our small kids group sang one song--one door and only one, and we also recited a children rhyme about Mom--Mom is home. Certainly we all said in Chinese. Didi took a lead for the rhyme even though he was the youngest one. Maybe he forgot to wait for the music. haha..

Last Wednesday was the AWANA ceremony. I finished my first year of Cubbies. I got a Cubbie bear for my vest!
It was pity that Didi couldn't go to the ceremony because there were no Puggles this year. I was expecting him to find out me when I was on the stage. I hope that he will join in with me for the Cubbies in the fall if there is still no Puggles.
We did take some pictures with our uniforms.

Today is Ranch Day! It is fum! We were there 4 hours.

Last Saturday, Mom helped us to do our gardening. We planted Turnip,barkchoy( Chinese cabbage) and sun flower. Didi and I did every step for the planting---plowing, watering, sowing and coving! It had been raining two days since Thurdays. Lubbock did get a lot of water. you can tell from the picture.It is rare to see so much water in Lubbock! Certainly, it did help our garden!! Mom said the turnip and the "youcai" have grown out!

Tonight I bought my first book with the money I earned by reading myself. haha... I have finished my "100" lessons Thursday and earned $5.05 till tonight, so Dad and Mom took us to "Barns & Noble", where I chose my the book I like close to my budget. The book is "Go away, Dog", $5.98. It is " I can read" series. I think I can read it myself with a little help!!
Dad bought me "baklava" ( desert) from Mediterranean resturant. It is good. But Didi kept saying like donut. He is funny! ( I guess it is all sweet.)

Finally, this morning, Mom and Dad got chance to take 2-year-old "professional" picture for Didi. He did great. He was really cooperated. If we did exactly on the birthday, maybe he was not so matural. Haha..

Yesterday, Didi designed a special hat for himself. It did remind Dad of the image of the British Lawyer. We all laughed at him, so did he himself!
We went to friends' house to color some Easter eggs. I did get involved in the most parts, but Didi was more interested in the toys they had.
Last week, Didi also got a chance to share my reward--Icecream for playing Piano well. We went to Icecream shop, Where we also played the Music box.
Certainly on the hot days, after we took good naps, we also could get our favoriate "bingguir"--lolipop.
