Dad went to Boston for a conference. He said he missed Boston a lot. But unfortunately, right now he has not so many old friends there. He did go to the church he went before and ran into some people he knew. He also went to the used bookstore he liked very much. Certainly, he did eat some seafood. He will come back Wednesday. We all miss him. It is the first time for him to be away from us after I was born. But I did talk with him on the phone,keeping him updated about what's going on at home.
While these days are very hot in Lubbock, several days are more than 100 in a roll. Mom took us to the mall and science musuem. It's cool. I behaved well, especially bedtime at night. I should grow up and cooperate with Mom while Dad is not home, right?
I enjoyed to play with didi in the car while Mom drove. I just looked at him and laughed, then he laughed back loudly.It's so fun.
Ps. these days, I love to sing the songs "the wheels on the bus", "A BC song" in English, and "looking for a friend" in Chinese. I also can say and sign "I love you." haha.. Certainly, I also learned a lot of other signs for animals from the Tv program "signing time". I really loves the DVD and books I borrowed myself from the library. (I did break one DVD, so mom had to pay back as twice as the price is. so now I am learning not to open the DVD myself. but sometimes, I just forget....)
My vocabulary increased a lot,too. As mom said, because of my enlarged vocabulary, I gave demands so oftenly and so easily. Is it good or bad?

Didi is 4 months old. He is huge.He is already 19 pounds now. His hair is getting longer,too. These days, Lubbock is very hot. 94F will be in a roll for 4 days. So today Mom cut his hair. He is ok in general. Certainly he did complain some while she was cutting. He gave her a "funny" face when she tried to take pictures.
This afternoon, I got a chance to swim in the pool Dad bought for me. Haha. . It is cool to be in a pool when it is hot. I love it.

This year is the second Mother's day that my Mom celebrated. Last year only myself, this year Didi joined with me. And my Laolao is here,so two moms and two daughters, but three people.What kind of maths!
Saturday night, at Chinese church, there were a Mother's Day party. There were children and youth group performance, and several testimonies. My Mom gave one about her experience as a new mom for two. The last program is to present a rose to Moms by the children. I was one of those who were very active. haha...
Sunday night we went to a Chinese Buffet to have a HUGE dinner, especially I had crab legs. I ate a lot. I like Buffet. Free to choose! haha..

Another month passed by. I am 22 months old. Today it is the first day for me to go to a Science Musuem. How pitty!! haha.. Nana and her Mom took us there since my mom couldn't drive on the highway yet. but A Yi showed us a new road, so Mom could,too. haha.. I hope that we could go there more often. It's so fun.

Today Didi is 100 days old. According to Chinese custom, he will be taken a lot of pictures. For me, my parents took me to the photographer's, but they didn't like the experience there, so they chose to do themselves. The followings are the ones Mom took. I hope that Dad will take more good ones later.

Sunday is Laoye's birthday. According to Chinese custom, it should be a big celebration for the 66th birthday. There will be a lot of people to come to celebrate,but since they are here, we just celebrate un a low key.(Originally, Mom wanted to do potluck with friends,giving Laoye a surprise.Since we all got cold, we went to a Mexican restrant instead. But we had a wonderful time & enjoyed the food,too.
Mom made a cake for Laoye. It is the best cake she made so far and showed her creativity most. Look at the pictures. (secret: the flowers are made from skin of orange & tomato.The Chinese characters are written with ketchup source.haha.. They all don't look bad, do they?)

Laoye likes working. He got an idea to help me to play freely and safely in the sand box---building a house for the sand box. It is a long story as to the sandbox. For my first birthday, my parents bought me some sand, but I didn't use too much last year because the weather was colder and colder after we got it. One day Mom found one neighbor's cat using it as his litter box. She was very upsad, so she covered the sand with some carboard. This year even the weather wasw good, but she was still afraid that the cat would come again.
One day when we went to a park, where Laoye got inspired by how they build a small house for the sandbox.
Laoye's project is very efficient and effective.

Didi is 3 months old!haha.. He is a big boy. These days he sleeps good,too. He likes lying down on the gym. He is more interesting now. He likes to look at me. Sometimes he laughed when he saw me doing someththing. He is more talktive,too even though I couldn't understand what he said. He still doesn't like having a bath in the bason, so Mom and Laolao had tried to wash him in the sink. He seemed ok even though he looked very serious. It's good that he didn't cry so dramatically as before. Oh, one night while we were having dinner, he tried to take off his shirt. haha...

I am 21 months old today. It is not too far to my 2 years old birthday. haha..
Today Dad needed to give a talk at Chinese Church, so he and I didn't go to the FBC. But I did attend the Sunday school with the older kids( 4 years old above) at the Chinese church. I stayed most of the time,watching them singing, making craft and so on. I also ate cookies and drank water.
Before the sunday school while I was playing by myself, I ran too fast and fell down to the floor,unfortunately, I hit the edge of the door frame.It caused my lip cut. it bled a lot. It's scaring, but I did not cry too much. Mom felt very sorry for it. It looks terrible to her. Even though I am active, it is first time that I was wounded. sigh....
