We have attended a swimming class for two weeks. Mine is called Water Bug and Didi is called Mommy and Me. ( This year, Daddy is with Didi.) I did learn how to blow bubles and put head under the water. When the teacher held me, I could swim with head in the water. It is so fun. Didi enjoyed the singing part mostly. He did practice some blowingbubbles. my parents are very satisfied with our class. We are happy that we can learn some from this class,too. We all got the sense of achievement. I will be signed up for the next session.

This week, we got some rain. We did not go to the backyard for several days. Yesterday morning, Mom went out and found out that we have the first blooming sunflower. This morning, I finally got chance to go out to appreciate and drew a picture of it.
But unfortunately, our tunips didn't turn good. Most of them died because of the lack of water. didi and I did pull two of them out. We got a taste of it. It didn't taste that great.

Happy Father's Day! We started with Daddy and Doughnut at FBC, then we had potluck at Chinese Church. Evening we watched Toy story3. it is very good. We saw two beautiful rainbows on the way home. Nice Father's Day!

Last night, we got some rain. This morning, we found a snail in front of the door. Both Didi and I were excited to see the snail in so close distance. Mom allowed us to go out and see how the snail walk. He walked pretty slow with a wet line left behind. We did touch his shell,his antenna. It was so fun to see him to hide his antenna and tail inside the shell when we touched them. Not long later, he would stretch out the antenna again to see whether it was safe or not. We did hold the snail. We also took out a piece of paper to draw the snail. We got the shell and the antenna. That is it. This can be treated as our science class. haha...

My mom planned to keep my hair longer this summer, thus I could have my 'xiaobianr". But last Thursday, it was hot and I was bored. While Didi and Daddy watched Movie and Mom was nappying, I cut my hair. After I cut half of the hair from my head, I showed Daddy. It was big surprise. I thought he was scared,too. He took me to Mom to show her. She had the same reaction. Certainly she had to finished the rest part. Thus, I got my own style hair-cut this summer.
People commented most of them did the same thing when they were young.
My parents commented that my skill was not bad, but this was not what they wanted me to do, so the result was that I was not allowed to use the scissors for a week! (originally Daddy said a month, later they changed.Anyway, from this, I learned the difference between one month and one week.)

This year at Chinese Church, our small kids group sang one song--one door and only one, and we also recited a children rhyme about Mom--Mom is home. Certainly we all said in Chinese. Didi took a lead for the rhyme even though he was the youngest one. Maybe he forgot to wait for the music. haha..

Last Wednesday was the AWANA ceremony. I finished my first year of Cubbies. I got a Cubbie bear for my vest!
It was pity that Didi couldn't go to the ceremony because there were no Puggles this year. I was expecting him to find out me when I was on the stage. I hope that he will join in with me for the Cubbies in the fall if there is still no Puggles.
