Tonight, my parents and I went to the expecting parents dinner at FBC. There were a childcare, so I stayed with them. My parents had a good time and dinner as they said. The food was good and people were nice. They also gave an album for the baby and showed my parents where the new baby would be. They prayed for the expecting parents, siblings and new babies,too. For the new baby, they prayed from the labor to their spouse.It seems long, but time flies. And God has the plan for every stage, right?

Yesterday evening after Dad came home from work, Mom said that she would like to take me out in order to let Dad have a short nap. She decided to take me to see her friend and return the GPS. While we were planning to go, the wind started blowing and the sky turned darker and darker. Since the friend lived closeby, mom thought it would be ok before we arrived. But once we got on the road, the thunder and the wind became stronger and stronger. When we arrived at the friend's house, the rain has been pouring down heavily, so she deiced to stay in the car and wait. We waited for about 15 minutes, the rain just kept pouring. Then the hail started. It was very big and it lasted about another 15 minutes.It was scary. Mom was really afraid that I was scared and cried. So she kept giving me toys and book. I was curious what it was happening outside, but I was ok. I played with the toys and read the book. Finally, we got into the house once the rain was not so heavy. Since the rain was so sudden and heavy, the whole street was full of water. Later mom asked the friend's husband to drive us back. It was funny. We wanted to go out, but it turned out that we were stucked in the car for so long time because of the storm and hail.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
It happened that we went to Dallas the day before the festival, so my parents did buy the mooncakes. It's first time that i tried the mooncakes. It's not bad. One is strawberry with york and another one is "liulian" with york. But my dad still said that he liked the mooncake in China. I have no idea what those mooncakes tastes. I hope some day that I could have a real bite. haha..As usual, we took pictures with the moon. This is our family custom.

Dad needed to meet some people from a company in Dallas on Monday. Mom and I were afraid that we would be very bored at home, so we decided to go with them. At the beginning, they did worry about whether I was ok for so long in the car, and whether my Mom was ok. It turned out that both of us were ok,(in fact, three of us including didi. Since while Dad was in the meeting, we could spend time with Mrs. Luo, who just moved to Dallas from Lubbock and we could see her new baby, Jassica, Finnally, we decided that we all went.
The trip was nice. No problem for Mom, didi and me. But the big problem is that I was too excited to sleep that night. I played till 12:30pm, then I woked up at 5:30am. In the morning when Mom and I was with Aunt Luo, I was awake till 11:30am. Then, I fell in sleep till 3;30pm. haha..I did play some with Jessica. She is cute girl. I learned to say" meimei" and Dallas---"Da la"
On the way back, we first went to Chinese supermarket. Mom and Dad bought some things, especially they bought some mooncakes because Tuesday would be mid-autumn festival. when we arrived home, it was already 1:00am. Most time on the way back, I slept. A short and busy family trip. haha.. We are happy that Dad's meeting went well. We hope that he could get a great cooperation with those people!!

Yesterday, Mom took me to the campus. Dad joined us,too. It was nice trip. I played at the park. I like walking along the sidewalk next to the blooming grass. It is fun even though it is narrow, it really test my ballance!!

Today, I am 14 month old. Time flies.
Mom hasn't update my blog for a while because she was busy and I crashed down her computer,too. But I didn't stop growing! On the contrary, I have developed several new skills and keep enjoying my toddlerhood!!
1. my eating skill---patiently waiting for the food at resturant; eating a whole peach with my 6 teeth; feeding myself whole can of yorkert.
2. creativity----dancing on the book; blowing the pole of the broom; too hot,getting into the cooler
3. study---my new study table
4. Shopping---push my own cart in Market Street--I am a customer in training.

Last night, we finally had a dinner with Emily's family. They would leave for Florida. I hope that they have arrived safe now. It's too bad that we two couldn't play too much since she didn't feel well.But I did have a wonderful time with her brother, Alec, who loved babies and know how to play with us. We two played hide and seek for a while.
We will miss this nice family. We hope that we could see each other soon!!!

Time flies. This month will go away several hours later. These days, we are busy with some trivials.
Thursday, my parents took me to see an eye doctor, who is supposed to test my eyesight. Everything is great. But he said:"her attitude needs to be adjusted, but the eyesight." I did not like those equipments, which made me nervous and I did cry a lot. haha..

Today is a busy day for Mom and Me. In the morning, we went to a bridal shower,where I saw a lot of people. At the beginning, I behaved a little shy, but not long, I got to know people, especially there were a lot of toys,so I played there quite a while.
On the way back, Mom took me to the Chinese Church BBQ. This year there are a lot of new Chinese students. It seems that they enjoyed the BBQ, certainly, I got some tastes,too.
