Daddy is back!
Last night when I was in AWANA, Mom came to pick me up. When we hang out in the hall, Dad walked to us, wearing suit. At the beginning, I didn't recognize him. Later, I found out that he was Dad---I wanted to say "you are wearing tie" but I said "you are wearing qipao." haha... We were all surprised that Didi was extremely happy to see Baba. Even when we came home, he still did the special action to show his excitement for Daddy's back.

Baba came to the church to meet us from the airport directly in order to give me a surprise.

We all miss him. It's nice to have him around. haha..

We are doing ok these four days. Mom was touched by Yvonne--my Ma who lives nearby. She called us every day to check how we are doing and told Mom to call them anytime if we need any help. We really appreciate Ma and Pa's care!!

Big test!
Two weeks ago, Laolao and Laoye left for China. It is really a great challenge for my paretns to take care of us and the household themselves since didi was born. Right now, Mom is facing this big challenge herself now because Dad will be out of town for 4 days. So we have to behave well didi. Ok, one day is over---we did go to churches and took nap. tonight we went to bed not too late. So far so good.

Life is changing!
Laolao and Laoye has left for China. Our life here is quite different. I often say "wo xiang tanmen." And Didi is not used to the "quiet" life, either. Before, it is Laolao and Laoye who took care of him all day long, right now, he has to stick to me and Mom. Especially yesterday, he was left to Sue, a babysitter, three hours in the morning, then in the evening, he was with DAd two hours.

Catch up with my language development!
I have been practice saying "yiqi" (together) and 'dou" (all) for a while. Right now I am practicing "wo xihuan...". Certainly, I could do some comparasion, finding the similarity and the difference. For example, xx he xx yi yang. women xiang dong zou, baba xiang xi zou.(we walked towards the east, dad walked towards the west.)I also practice attribution. For example, wo tui teng, wo bu neng xizao.( my leg hurts, I couldn't take a bath.) I can make a conversation by "calling" people, like my friends, my uncle and aunt in China and my yeyenainai, gugu in America.
Sometimes I felt people around me felt tired of me because I kept asking 'zhe shi sha?"(what is this?) for everything.

visit George Bush's childhood home!
Saturday, Dad drove us to visit George Bush's childhood home at Midland. Dad and Mom, Laolao and Laoye enjoyed visiting the house. We also went to a children musuem, there.
Friday morning, Mom also took us to the appartment they lived when I was born. I enjoyed climbing the stairs there. Even though I only lived there for 3 months, I seemed to have some attachment to it. haha..

Activities!
As the fall is coming, we went to some activities almost every Saturday. Certainly, those activities help us--Didi and me to explore the beautiful world and help Laolao and Laoye to see more "America" before they leave.

We went to County Fair, Caprock and a pumpkin patch.

pieces in my language development!
Tonight's coversation between Laolao and me
scene: Dad took me to Walmart in the evening. Laolao didn't know where we went. But after we came back, she overheard my trip to the Walmart from Mom.

Laolao: enqi, nimen gangcai pao woerma qu la? (literally: you just now ran to Walmart? implied meaning: you just now went to Walmart?)---Pao3 dongbei dielact, here means qu4 (go)
Enqi: baba kaiche qu de. (Literally: Dad drove a car. Implied meaning: we didn't run to Walmart, we drove there.)

Language is amazing. Isn't it?

Recently, I watched a DVD ---meeting the Pingu--telling some stories about a little pingu and her/his family. In the story, there are Dad, Mommy, Pingu and pinga. After I watched that DVD, I named myself Pingu, and didi Pinga.

These days, I am practicing "qi3lai2"--- up. I need more practice. Sometime I even say "zuo4( sit) qilai. But if I say "zhan4 (stand) qilai, that is right.
Then also the other "lai2",chu1lai2le--come out hui2lai2le--come back

Plus: my English is in the simple sentence stage. haha...

Happy Mid-autumn Festival!
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!! This year,we celebrate with Laolao and Laoye and didi. It is fun. We took a picture with the moon. but this year, the moon is a little shy---she sometimes hid behind the cloud, sometimes, she just showed half of her face. haha..
We bought mooncakes. Dad even bought one "pig" mooncake. It is cute.
